Edinburgh is home to some of the best restaurants in Scotland, and there is more to choose from today than there has ever been. The most active nightlife areas are Cowgate and Grassmarket in the Old Town and Broughton street in New Town. The university areas on the south side of the city are extremely lively and you don’t have to walk too far to get a drink promotion or two!
